Extension to the side a private house on a 'presqu-ile' on the banks of the River Seine. A choice of roofing the new-build with thatch to match the existing and the necessity to tuck the extension under the deeply overhanging existing thatch created an attractive balcony above the new kitchen. The general appearance of the newbuild was kept in keeping with the existing dwelling by the request of the local Mairie. (local council)

Currently this project is at the planning stage.

Une extension d'une maison privée sur une presqu'ile sur les bords de La Seine. Le choix de faire une couverture en chaume pour correspondre à l'existant, et la necessité de rentrer le nouvel toît sous l'existant, qui surplombe profondément, a créé un joli balcon au dessus de la cuisine. L'aspect général de la construction neuve a été maintenu en harmonie avec la maison existante par la demande de la Mairie.

Extension to rear of private house to create new kitchen/diner with bedroom above. Also the conversion of the loftspace and provision of a additional bedroom and access staircase.

The design necessitated minute attention to detail to provide a seamless ceiling finish from the existing ground floor into the extended kitchen, whilst providing a 'floor to ceiling' bay window in the bedroom above.

Une extension d'une maison privée pour créer une nouvelle cuisine/salle à manger et une chambre au dessus les deux. Le projet a requis aussi un aménagement du grenier pour créer une chambre de plus, et un escalier.

C'etait necessaire prêter beaucoup d'attention au petits details pour créer un plafond fluid et correct au rez de chausée, et , au même temps de donner une vitre en baie (plancher à plafond) a la chambre au dessus.

Restoration of a 17th Century Manor House and stables with detailed involvement from English heritage necessitating in depth archeological surveys and strict conditions before approvals given for works. Approximate contract value £2m.
Early scheme proposals met with disapproval from conservationists leading to oenerous conditions being laid, substantial reworking of elevations and layout and the reduction of apartments.

La restauration d'un manoir du dix-septième siècle et ses ècuries. Des negotiations intenses avec 'English Heritage' ont donné la necessité de procurer des investigations archeologiques, et des conditions rigides etaient 'mis en place' avant de recevoir les permissions.

Le planning et les elevations etaient beaucoup modifiés et la nombre des apartements etait beaucoup reduit, pour apaiser les conservationistes.
